Stalking is the art of being quiet and patient, making yourself invisible, blending and molding yourself into the background, so that as far as the Carp are concerned you are part of that background and nothing to fear. Angling then is the technique of catching fish using a rod and line; it is called “angling” because of the angle formed by the two. If you look at the success of captures on small pieces of baits fished over crumbs of baits or fine particulate ground baits saturated with nutritional liquid food additives with added blood worms, maggots, sweetcorn and hemp seeds etc, you can see distinct advantages because it taps into more of the fishes ranges of natural modes of feeding.
